Weekend Journaling

Keeping a journal is a helpful and healthy way to express your inner thoughts and feelings.  I personally find journaling to be a really productive and insightful way of working through my emotions, and for dealing with life in general.  It is also a wonderful way to make a record of my life to look back on and reflect later down the line.

Therefore, I have decided to share some journaling prompts every fortnight with the intention to inspire reflection and give a starting point for anyone who may be interested in this practice.

The weekend is a wonderful time to do this, but I personally do it whenever I feel I need to (this can be daily or sometimes a few weeks will go by).  If you are struggling to find the time, perhaps you could set aside 30 minutes to an hour each weekend just to check in with yourself.

We need to consciously make time and space for ourselves, and look within to see what is really going on in those hearts and minds of ours.  Don’t overthink it, write whatever comes to mind, and be honest – this is a private, personal practice for you and your eyes only!

One more thing: buy yourself a beautiful journal and pens.  Treat this as a sacred practice, because self-love is a sacred practice.

So, this week’s prompt is:

What does a love-filled life look like to you

Happy writing!

XoXo
